CARVED WOODEN PIECES OF THE PAST, OZARK MOUNTAINS, ARKANSAS
DID YOU EVER HEAR "DON'T TAKE ANY WOODEN NICKLES". WELL--HOW ABOUT WOODEN ARTIFACTS? THESE 11 WOODEN PIECES WOULD SURE MAKE NICE HANDICRAFT ITEMS. THEY COME IN A GLASS FRONT DISPLAY. HERE IS THE REST OF THE STORY!
FACT: An old mountaineer in the Ozark Mountains during the winter of 2,000 sat around his pot belly wood stove and spent the winter reflecting on his past and admiration for the American Indian. He is a master whittler and from his memory he shaped the many spears he had found over his lifetime. He used the finest of wood from the local Cedar of the mountains, shaped, chipped and serrated it into works of art. To old to hunt in the winter but young enough to fish in the spring he finished his work at winter end. I bought all 526 hand carved peices he made that winter.
